NWF Group completes sales negotiations
Sales negotiations completed for NWF Group
Sales negotiations have led to the Cheshire-based food, animal feeds and fuel distributor NWF Group expanding its operations.
The firm has purchased Evesons Fuels, which has four depots serving domestic and commercial customers, for a sum of £3.3 million.
NWF states it will integrate the business into its existing 13 depot structure and promises it will help to deliver improvements in operating efficiency.
Commenting on the acquisition, Richard Whiting, chief executive, stated the company is excited by the opportunities the acquisition provides.
"It represents an excellent significant bolt on to our fuel division's operations expanding our geographic coverage and serving a good customer mix from a well invested business," he said.
Mr Whiting added the deal will allow the businesses to deliver more than 430 million litres of fuel to over 30,000 customers from 17 sites across the UK.
This follows the recent announcement that Northern Foods is expected to enter into sales negotiations with famous fish and chip chain Harry Ramsdens.
