Strike negotiations with teaching staff?
Strike negotiations might be of assistance for teaching dispute.
Strike negotiations might prove useful as teachers have began three days of strikes in Rotherham.
As part of cuts Rawmarsh Community School in the South Yorkshire town is set to lose 34 staff, including 20 teachers - a quarter of the faculty.
The National Union of Teachers (NUT) said: "These savage cuts are going to have a massive impact on the school."
The cuts are a bid to reduce a £1.3 million debt and an overspend of £400,000 in the past year alone.
Rawmarsh teacher and NUT representative Ralph Dyson said: "If these job losses take place class sizes must rise and the children of Rawmarsh will not receive the education they are entitled to."
He added the school is an excellent establishment and the teachers want to ensure it stays that way.
Strike negotiations may recently have proven useful in the prevention of a planned strike at the Heinz factory near Wigan.
