Brocade to use sales negotiation experts?

The firm is trying to find a buyer for the second time in three years.

Brocade Communication Systems is looking to find a buyer and so business negotiations may take place.

This is according to the Wall Street Journal and it comes two years after the firm tried to attract investors without success and hired investment bank Qatalyst Partners.

Because of this, individuals within the firm may look to use sales negotiation experts this time around in order to try and forge an agreement.

Private equity firms in the US are expected to have a look at Brocade, which was established in 1995 and specialises in the production of equipment to assist cloud-based networking.

Shares in the firm have fallen over 40 per cent since 2009 - the paper observed - and so it may be an attractive option for businesses looking to make money from an acquisition.

Currently headquartered in San Jose, California, Brocade has over 4,000 employees and its technology is used in more than 160 countries.
