Big Foot Manufacturing and CNW Log Homes of America merge

CNW Log Homes of America and Big Foot Manufacturing have merged.

04 April 2012

Negotiation consultants could have had an important role in the tie-up between CNW Log Homes of America and Big Foot Manufacturing.

The new enterprise will now trade under the name Big Foot Log and Tinder Homes and it will focus on Douglas Fir, rather than the Spruce Pine mix traditionally used.

As the housing market is beginning to slowly recover, the companies believed this would be a good time to merge, creating a single group responsible for pricing and services.

Wayne Brown, senior vice-president of sales and operations for Big Foot, said the combination "brings everything together for a more cohesive approach to Big Foot's overall corporate strategy".

The arrangement will help the firm provide high-quality houses with outstanding levels of customer service and good-value prices, he remarked.

Big Foot Log and Tinder Homes is a member of the International Log Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders and the British Columbia Log and Timber Building Industry Association.
