Six3 Systems reveals Ticom Geomantics acquisition

Six3 Systems has bought Ticom Geomantics.

25 April 2012

Six3 Systems has announced it has acquired Ticom Geomantics in a process that could have involved merger and acquisition consultants.

President and chief executive officer of Six3 Systems Robert Coleman explained the deal will complement the capabilities of his firm.

It should enable the company to provide its customers with "comprehensive solutions and services", he continued.

Chief executive officer and president of Ticom Mark Leach said his organisation is "very excited" about the deal.

Customers from the national intelligence communities and joint services have been approaching his enterprise to extend its capabilities, in order to help them "support their mission requirements", he explained.

The transaction means it can achieve this ambition, the representative remarked.

Other acquisitions Six3 Systems has made include the purchase of Novii, which Mr Coleman said will be a "key component" of his business realising its objective of creating a leading provider to the security services.

This is because of Novii's "mission-critical enterprise software development capabilities", he added.
