Aetraffic.com bought out by Innovalist

Innovalist has acquired one of its rivals in the web traffic delivery industry.

Business negotiations between Innovalist and rival web traffic delivery firm Aetraffic.com have resulted in an acquisition agreement.

Innovalist, which is owned by entrepreneur Tom Koh and which runs the Getwebsitetraffic.org site, has bought Aetraffic.com for an undisclosed amount as it looks to consolidate its position in the sector by adding to its existing offerings.

The Singapore-based company currently acquires web traffic for its customers by redirecting internet users visiting expired domains to its clients' websites - a strategy advertised as an alternative to traditional search engine marketing and website optimisation.

The purchase of Aetraffic.com, which is headquartered in California, will now allow Innovalist to also capture traffic from contextual, pop-up and pop-under ads.

With over a decade of experience of setting up web-based ventures, Mr Koh has previously worked with brands such as Samsung, American Express and Visa.

He said: "The combined entities will make it possible to extend our commitment to providing affordable but unquestionably targeted click-through and redirect activity for our customers."
