Teleca and Symphony Service announce merger
Symphony Service and Teleca are to merge.
Negotiation techniques may be used by Symphony Service, as it has announced it has gone into a definitive merger agreement with Teleca.
This will create a firm called Symphony Teleca Corporation, which would be focused on enabling clients to support, manage and develop solutions for enterprise mobility and cloud services.
A join-up would build upon the strengths of each company and has been approved by the board of directors from both firms.
Enterprise mobility is a growing consideration for businesses, as well as cloud and mobility services, with these factors described as the key drivers behind the combination.
The new organisation would be based in Palo Alto, California, while Sanjay Dhawan is to be chief executive officer.
He said: "This union is about a strategic fit between two experienced and well-respected global companies."
Combined, the businesses would have 6,100 members of staff located in 35 offices across the world, including 12 delivery centres.
