Trace One and Agentrics - PLM reveal merger

Agentrics and Trace One are to merge.

Merger and acquisition advisors may have been needed during the merging of the PLM Business Unit of Agentrics with Trace One.

This will help the two enterprises speed up the private label product development process for over 12,500 manufacturing firms and 31 large retailers.

Agentrics NeoGrid chief executive officer Andre Ghignatti and PLM Business Unit head Daniel Dias claimed this will result in one of the strongest providers of software solutions focused on the management of product lifecycles in the world.

It will allow Agentrics NeoGrid to heighten its focus on strategic sourcing and supply chain issues, which are useful in an "industry that continues to consolidate and grow", the representatives remarked.

"The motivation, the competence and the added expertise from the two entities will be major assets for our success," noted Marc Bonnamour, chief operating officer of the new Trace One - Agentrics PLM group.
