ControlCam buys Mar-Tech
Mar-Tech has been acquired by ControlCam.
ControlCam might have used merger and acquisition advisors to support it in its recent purchase of aerial signal verification firm Mar-Tech.
Founder of Mar-Tech Daryl Rosenberger claimed the deal "makes great sense" for his company, adding that he is "pleased" to be taking part in the tie-up.
The combined organisation will run from ControlCam's newly-bought headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
As the transaction was private, financial details about the deal were not made public, although the acquisition was completed in the first three months of 2012.
Chief executive officer for ControlCam Billy Meadow noted Mar-Tech has "deep roots in aerial surveying for the cable industry".
He argued the acquisition will enable the organisations to become a "major player in the rapidly expanding geo-location imaging market".
Mr Meadow has been the leader of a range of businesses, including Payformance Corporation and BBN Corporation.
As a postgraduate, he studied robotics and engineering at the University of Florida.
