IFS mergers with Denphone
Denphone is to merge with IFS.
Denphone is to merge with Infinet Financial Systems (IFS) in a deal that could be bolstered through the use of a negotiation consultancy.
The transaction will involve Denphone becoming part of the Infinet Group, but it will continue operating under the brand Infinet Financial Systems (Denphone).
In Japan, Denphone is the country's largest supplier of voice solutions and appliances based on the Asterisk Internet Protocol (IP) system.
It has focused on a wide array of emerging markets in the nation, including high-technology and finance sectors.
The merger should improve IFS's capabilities in Trading Room IP usage.
"I see the IP skills that Denphone have to be absolutely second-to-none in the market," IFS chief executive officer Stephen Phillips said.
He remarked that the business has "taken technology skills from India and now from Japan".
Earlier this year, IFS merged with Teletronics Dealing Systems in a deal that involved Teletronics becoming part of the IFS group.
