Aegis buys PPI Central Europe
Aegis has acquired out-of-home agency PPI Central Europe.
Aegis Group could have recently required merger and acquisition advisors, as it has purchased PPI Central Europe, an out-of-home agency based in Europe.
The newly-bought enterprise will be rebranded by Aegis to become part of Posterscope Worldwide's Europe, Middle East and Africa division.
Global chief executive officer of Posterscope Annie Rickard said the firm is excited to be expanding into Hungary as a result of this deal.
PPI has extensive experience, knowledge, innovative methods and professionalism, she remarked.
Aegis claimed PPI is an expert in site selection, campaign planning and appraisal, buying and using the latest technology to assist it.
At the end of 2011, PPI had gross assets of around €1 million (£832,000) and was initially established in Budapest in 2001.
This is not the first acquisition Aegis has made in 2012 as earlier this year, it purchased the holding company of US digital agency Roundarch, with an initial consideration of £125 million (£79 million).
