Epsilon and AF to merge
AF is merging with Epsilon.
AF is to merge with Epsilon, with merger and acquisition advisors working to develop what will be one of the leading technology consulting firms in Europe.
Combining their operations will enable the companies to enhance their offerings to new and existing clients throughout growth areas including embedded systems and technical calculations.
Business negotiations between the brands have resulted in AP planning to acquire Epsilon to affect the merger, which will see Epsilon chief executive officer Mats Bostron becoming head of AF's technology division.
This transaction is in-line with AF's long-term strategy, helping the company to improve its market position and allowing it to offer a more comprehensive range of services to its customers.
Furthermore, the areas each company specialises in complement each other strongly.
"The companies' managements have had an extensive dialogue. The conclusion from this is that the merger has a very good basis for success," Epsilon owner Dan Olofsson said.
