Wright Express has bought Fleet One.

05 October 2012

Information management and business payment processing solutions firm Wright Express Corporation has completed the acquisition of Fleet One, after it received approval from all the required regulatory government bodies.

Currently, Wright Express has more than 900 members of staff operating across six companies, such as through its brand CorporatePay Limited, England.

It had announced that it planned to acquire Fleet One on September 5th 2012, with sales negotiations resulting in the transaction being all-cash.

President, chairman and chief executive officer of Wright Express Michael Dubyak said: "Today marks day one for our combined company."

He said that Fleet One will be a "great addition" to his firm, claiming the opportunities the tie-up will provide to the combined enterprises has made him "excited".

Fleet One has a "strong over-the-road business" that should enable it to better serve its co-branded and mixed-fleet customers, as well as accelerate its acceptance within Canada, the representative continued.

"Their local fleet and private label business complements our core fleet business," Mr Dubyak declared.
